Bresser Messier MC-152 Mak-Cass Hex-Focus EXOS-2 GOTO

• The Bresser Messier MC-152 Mak-Cass Hex-Focus on EXOS-2 GOTO system is a 6-inch (152mm) aperture Maksutov Cassegrain telescope, capable of delivering excellent high power, high contrast views of the night sky (with a particular forte for the major Solar System targets), thanks to its long f/12.5 focal length.
• This telescope has a compact design that squeezes a long, highly corrected optical train into a compact body, making it the ideal telescope for the astronomer on the go.
• The optics are mounted in a highly stable fixed position, unlike many other designs of this type which rely on the main mirror moving up and down the tube on the internal baffle.
• Being a fixed optic, the Bresser Messier MC-152 relies on an external focuser.
• This telescope utilises the innovative Bresser Hexafoc – a hexagonal cross section focuser, which unlike many conventional cylindrical focuser tubes, supports and distributes weight and loading in a much more predictable and even manner, leading to better support for heavier eyepieces and accessories.
• This focuser has a 2.5 inch internal clear diameter and comes with a 2 inch to 1.25 inch step down ring.
• The Bresser Exos-2 Goto mount supplied with this system is a computerised German equatorial mount, which features the Startracker handset with a 100,000+ object database of objects and large LCD display.
• Once aligned to the night time sky, the Exos-2 is capable of finding and tracking targets.
• This mount also features a polar alignment scope for easy polar lock and also has an ST-4 port for attaching an autoguider to, enabling accurate long duration astrophotography (autoguider available separately).
